In 2007, he retired as an associate professor of Research Methodology in Social Work with Statistics at the Faculty of Social Work in Ljubljana. In the last period of his professional work, he devoted himself to the development of qualitative research methods, since after his retirement in 2010/11 to 2013/14, he lectured and led exercises at the then Jesenice College of Nursing. Later, in the years 2012/2013 to 2014/15, he lectured at the Alma Mater Europea Maribor as part of the master’s study of social gerontology on the subject Applied methodology in social gerontology and at the doctoral level on the subject Qualitative methodology. In the years 2019/20 and 2020/21, he collaborated with the Ljubljana subsidiary of the Sigmund Freud University of Vienna as part of the Bologna master’s degree in psychology in the subject Introduction to qualitative research methods II – questioning. Along with all the above work, he continued to research the literature and familiarize himself with the development of the qualitative method. As a result of hard work and research on the qualitative method, his new monograph entitled Qualitative research in theory and practice was published by the IRSA Institute.
