IRSA had organised a program group assembly meeting in Bled which took place between 20 and 22 April in the Park hotel.

Invited guest speakers were from Slovenia and abroad, including Matevž Tomšič, PhD (SASS) and Victor Cepoi, PhD (SASS/FIS).

The program topics were populism, nationalism, globalisation (with the special focus on the role of China), social innovation

Frane Adam published a new article in the online peer-reviewed academic journal IIASS (Innovative Issues and Approaches in Social Sciences)

entitled Citizen Science Pilot Experiment in High School. The basis of the article is recent research done in 5 grammar schools in Ljubljana. The article is available here.

IRSA participated on the 5th general assembly meeting of the STEM4YOUTH project (Horizon 2020) in Cantabria. The meeting took place on 7 and 8 June 2018.

IRSA's director Frane Adam participated in the public round table entitled What Kind of the State do we wish for?
organized by Nova Revija Institute of Humanist Studies. The event took place on 21 March 2018 at Hotel Central.

Institute IRSA participates in a project consortium "STEM4youth" in the framework of Horizon2020, which was approved by the EU Commission. The consortium  consists of nine other partners from five different EU countries. The duration of the project is 30 months.
