Martina Plantak, PhD
Dr. Martina Plantak works as a researcher at IRSA and as an assistant professor and project coordinator at DOBA Business School Maribor. She holds a PhD in Political Science and a Master’s degree in International Relations. Her doctoral studies were conducted through a joint program between Andrássy University in Budapest and Danube University Krems in Austria.
Her research focuses on the study of international relations, with a particular focus on Central Europe and the Western Balkans. She explores how political-sociological relations shape the dynamics of cooperation between states and the impact of nationalism and identities on international politics, society, and technology. She has many years of experience in marketing and management, working in large international companies and start-ups.
