Senior researcher
Holds the PhD in Sociology and MSc in Communication Sciences, currently retired and associated senior researcher at the the IRSA institute. For longer period her researches have been focused on the transition of young people from schooling to work and on the youth (un)employment. Before that she was engaged in researching active citizenship; mass media, especially books and readers; higher education – it’s financing and evaluation. As the member of Slovene research teams she participated in several international projects (ETGACE, DIOSCURI, CONTEST, ETHOS, UC-Crowd EU) most of which were carried out at the IRSA Institute.
She lectured at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana (Sociology of Mass Media) and the Faculty for Applied Social Sciences, Nova Gorica, Slovenia (Youth Unemployment).
